I teach Restorative, Yin, Athletic, Vinyasa Flow, Chair yoga. Once you let me know what your goals, history and injuries are, I guide you to what you need in the session, sometimes mixing different styles.

At Your Office

So often at work, long hours sitting, combined with repetitive wrist motions at the computer and stressful deadlines, can make the body feel tired and irritated. A group yoga class, bringing all of your colleagues together either in-person or virtually, is a great way to bond, boost morale, good health, energy, vitality and wisdom. Bringing oxygen to the brain allows you to see things freshly and come back to your tasks with new ideas and enthusiasm. (See my client roster on my home page). 

1 Hour Yoga Session 

For Your Family

This hour is meant for you to feel closer as a family! You will laugh, stand on one leg, stretch each other and have moments of calm and peace, as well as fun and joy. I teach a flow class, breaking down postures, and make sure to leave time for some quiet at the end, so you can simply feel each other’s presence. This is lovely for someone’s birthday, as I often get requests.

Dance Class

I have taught dance for over 20 years and dance professionally for many years. I continue to train at STEPS and have taught celebrities, including Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush. I teach ballet, jazz, musical theater, improv and sometimes mix all of them together! You will be certain to learn a new mastery of your body, find tone and long lines, all while having so much fun! I take song requests. I also have some wonderful songs in my repertoire that always get the blood pumping that leave laughing and well spent! I give you corrections on alignment in warm-ups, help you with knowing where your center of gravity is, work with you on what muscles are working. You get an entire hour focused on you. I teach for children, adults and families.

Mudra and Meditation

This is one of my favorite classes to teach. I take you through different pranayama techniques (breathing techniques) that induce different responses in the body. (Valoma, Brhamari, Sama Vritti, kumbhaka). Breath is a world to itself. You are taken to dimensions of space and calm that you perhaps have never experienced. With this, I include mudras, specifically chosen for you. Mudras are a Sanskrit term that literally means “mark” or “gesture.” While you breathe, you hold certain mudras, inducing different states of being. This naturally flows into meditation. I teach you how to watch your mind.
